The 3/16" Tapcon Screw Requires the use of 5/32" diameter Tapcon Drill Bit;
The 1/4" Tapcon Screw requires the use of 3/16" diameter Tapcon Drill Bit
1.Used for drilling pilot holes in masonry including concrete, block, brick, Ceramic Tile, Bricks, Granite, Stones.
2. Engineered to seamlessly work with tapcon concrete screw anchors ensuring an accurate fit.

7. The length of the Tapcon bit to use must be long enough to ensure that the hole drilled into the base material is 1/2" deeper than the Tapcon screw will penetrate the base material. For installing 3/16" Tapcon fasteners, use a 5/32" Tapcon drill bit, For installing 1/4" Tapcon fasteners, use a 3/16" Tapcon drill bit.
